Here at DemeCakes we believe that consultations is a great way for us to get to know each other before we start to work on your wedding cake. We assure that we will provide you with a professional and enjoyable experience and that we will put everything into making the wedding cake of your dreams! The consultation fee is $60.00 (non-refundable) this will include up to 5 different cake flavors of your choice for tasting. The fee will due the same day of booking. If you decide to go with us the $60.00 fee will go towards the balance of the cake.

If you want to skip the cake tasting and only want to do the consultation, we have virtual consultations that you can schedule. Below is the link to the form to complete. We only schedule consultation on Saturday and Sundays.

The reason why you should schedule a consultation is to go over the following details of your order which is the design of your cake, how many people you will need to serve, cake delivery on your wedding day and payment options. We want to make sure that we are both on the same page before we start creating your cake.

The consultation will be for one hour, so we ask for you to be prepared to provide us with the style of your wedding, examples of cakes you like and exact color swatches for your file (if you would like us to match).
If you are unsure about the style of your wedding, or don't have anything in mind for your cake, please let us know ahead of time so we can schedule more time for brainstorming. Consultations need to be booked at least 6months in advance. We will come to you for the consultation so you will need to provide us with an address before the consultation date.

We require a non-refundable $300.00 deposit. If your sure that you want DemeCakes to create your wedding cake, we suggest for you to paid the deposit for the cake asap so your spot will be secured. If you have any questions doing the process please feel free to contact us.

Final Payments are due on the date that appears on your contract. If the final payment is not paid on your schedule date your order will be cancel.

Once cake had been delivered please place keep cake in the refrigerator until the event. Take the cake out of the refrigerator at least one hour prior to event to get room temperature. If the venue is warm on the inside, remove it 30 minutes before the event starts. DemeCakes is not responsible if something happens to your order after it has been delivered or picked up.
