Wedding Cake Consultation with cake tasting
At DemeCakes, we believe that a wedding cake consultation is the perfect opportunity to get to know each other and start bringing your custom wedding cake vision to life. Our goal is to provide a professional, enjoyable experience while designing a cake that reflects your style and makes your special day unforgettable.
The consultation fee is $60.00 (non-refundable) and includes a tasting of up to five cake flavors of your choice. This fee is due at the time of booking and is essential for understanding cake pricing. Should you choose to move forward with DemeCakes, the $60.00 will be applied toward your final cake balance.

How to Prepare for your consultation
Why should you schedule a consultation
The wedding cake consultation is scheduled for one hour, so we ask that you come prepared with details such as your wedding style, inspiration photos of custom wedding cakes you like, and exact color swatches (if you would like us to match your theme).
If you are unsure about your wedding style or do not yet have ideas for your cake, please let us know in advance so we can allow additional time for brainstorming and discuss cake pricing.
Consultations should be booked at least six months in advance. For in-person consultations, we will travel to your location, so an address must be provided prior to your scheduled consultation date.
Deposit
Final Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date for our custom wedding cakes. The deposit amount will vary depending on the total price of your order, including cake pricing options. If you are confident that you would like DemeCakes to create your wedding cake, we recommend submitting your deposit as soon as possible to reserve your spot. Final Payment
Final Payment
Final payments for your custom wedding cakes are due on the date specified in your contract. If the final payment is not received by the scheduled due date, your order will be canceled, and all deposits are non-refundable. Additional information
Once your custom wedding cake has been delivered, please store it in the refrigerator until your event. For best results, remove the cake from the refrigerator at least one hour prior to serving to allow it to reach room temperature. If the venue is warm, we recommend removing the cake approximately 30 minutes before the event begins. For inquiries about cake pricing or to schedule a wedding cake consultation, feel free to reach out. Please note: DemeCakes is not responsible for any damage or issues that may occur after the cake has been delivered or picked up.
